Thisis our second last Movie Night for the year. My, how the year has progressed so fast! I'd like to thank you for your continued support for this new event.
Featuring this week will be none other than Grave of the Fireflies. This beautiful tale is a bit more touching than the hilarity Lupin III. Depicting two young children in the post-war bombing, this show will be filled with tears, crying and e...motion. I remember watching this on SBS on my SHITBOX TV in ENGLISH DUB in the middle of the night and MY COUCH WAS STILL ENCASED IN A THICK LAYER OF TEARS ;___;
DATE: Monday September 13th
TIME: 5pm - 8pm
LOCATION: H4 in the Menzies Building

OKI DOKI GUYS, this is the clubs main event this semester (infact this year). If a night where we all get to dress up nicely and prentend to be something more than the disgusting students we really are. Last year was a blast and we hope this year will just as good. This is a limited on the number of places we can offer so please make sure to pay early and garuntee yourself a seat and a great night.
WHEN: FRIDAY THE 24th of September. thats the friday of week ten before midsem break, so no excuses WHERE: GLEN WAVERLEY RSL, located directly opposite glen waverley station. You can't miss it
TIME: Arrive From 6:30pm for a 7pm Start. The night will go on till we kick everyone out at about 12 to 12:30am
COST: $60 ($70 for non members). For this you get a great venue and a three course dinner with drinks and everything. Kailun will accept payments from 2moro. PAYMENTS CLOSE THURSDAY THE 16th of SEPTEPBER. Anyone wanting to come after this date will not be able to as our final numbers will be sent through the next morning. DRESS CODE: FORMAL WEAR. thats suits and dress people! Cosplay is allowed but this aint manifest so try to keep it to the theme of formal (butlers maids etc) and this place is more public than last year so please nothing to riskay. SPECIAL COMPETITION: If you want to be a part of this years Social night Competition then Kailun will need to get a photo of you taken with his laptop (an important note is that guys need to be clean shaven). Thats all i will say at this point. The rest is a secret. |

HEY GUYS AND FEGUYS
After the stresses of disgusting Week 7 midsems and assignments, I think it's about time you should release your pent up rage and tension. And what better way, than to BLAST YOUR DAMN LUNGS OUT IN KARAOKE (no offense, Leon).
We're at Kbox this time, right in the heart of Melbourne. Price is a 10 dollars, wihch includes 2 drinks to quench your no doubt tired throat. You may come and go at any time - after all, n...ot many people have the ENDURANCE to karaoke for 5 hours straight. Please try to make it at the start though.
DATE: Saturday 4th of September
TIME: 2pm untill 7pm (prolly go for city dinner afterwards)

So we had this T-shirt Competition Last semester in the winner was..... JOSHUA LOKE (no surprises there) To Order an MCAC T-shirt all you have to do is talk to kailun. I believe he will start taking orders by Wednesday this week. Shirt will be $20 each. The aim is to have them by manifest, so there will not be ample time to make a decision. We will close orders for t-shirts at the end of week 2 (Friday 30th of July) Here is the winning design  |
